Just Some Fun Little Projects

A few odds and ends crafts projects I've made.

Another magnetic canvas board I made my sister for her birthday.  Did I mention I love these things?!!

I gave this Journal in a Jar to my mom for Mother's Day and she surprisingly uses it more than I thought she would. She shared a few memories with me that were great learning experiences, and some that were just pure entertainment. Ü

This can is meant to hold the little treasures kids find during their playful days. Unfortunately at only 2 months, my nephew is still stightly too young to use it. Someday though.

I just love this card!

Experimenting with Digital

My sister's blog header. (I also designed my header.)

My nephew's birth announcement.

I've been practicing in Illustrator and trying to get the feel of the program. It is one of the hardest things I have ever attempted, but it is so much fun. Here are a few of my first projects. I can't wait to look back in a few months and see my progress... if there is some. Wish me luck!

Christmas in July!

These are a few projects made from last Christmas.

I wish I could find my picture from when I was on Studio 5 demonstrating how to make these magnetic canvas boards.  Oh well.   I just love these things!  I think they are so fun and different from the typical magnet board.  I'm just waiting for the trend to catch on.  Hopefully it eventually will.

Capitol Reef Book

Before...

After...

I finally used the old record book from Savers. I decided it would be perfect to display the pictures from the little weekend camping trip to Capitol Reef. It was fun experimenting outside of the typical scrapbook.
